Why Island of White Light? The British Isles in former times were known as Albion, which it has been suggested can be interpreted as ' the place of light'. A number of web sites relating to Scotland convey very much the same thoughts, that Albion was a special place, even that Jesus came here as a child to learn.
The British Isles are known for places like Stonehenge and Silbury Hill, and Cornwall and the Arthurian legends. But there are many other parts of this island of light, complete with standing stones and other points of interest, which are thankfully not overcrowded by tourists. Also there is the natural beauty of the land itself, an inspiring at times, gentle on the eyes and mind at others.
Then there is the recent discovery in Lincolnshire of geometric patterns over the land, a Pentacle such as the one found at Rennes Le Chateau (which is known from the film The Da Vinci Code), plus many other geometric shapes imprinted on the landscape.

This small circle has some huge stones and some tiny ones, ranging from 90 cm to 3.4m. Trees have grown up around the circle almost obscuring it, giving a dark, melancholy air.
